Novaterra Geo is the Canadian branch of Novaterra Geoprocessamento. Founded in 2005 in Rio de Janerio, Brazil, Novaterra Geoprocessamento has grown to four locations.
In just a few years, Novaterra Geoprocessamento has expanded in Brazil to Belo Horizonte, the capital of Minas Gerais state, where it has had a business office since November 2007. In May, 2008, the company located in Curitiba, the capital of Paraná state, were it's marketing and development business unit is located. Most recently Novaterra has expanded internationally, opening an office in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada in October of 2008. The Canadian office is focused on North American ALOS imagery sales.
Our highly qualified and multidisciplinary staff is made up of geographers, biologists, surveyors, engineers and administrators. In addition, many are specialists in geographic information systems, remote sensing, environmental science and data processing. Engagement of technical and strategic business partnerships have allowed Novaterra to constantly incorporate new and emerging technologies that add value to our clients.
